Who ever reads the headings???

Well hello all and welcome to our updated blog. I was talking to Kris and asked him what type of background I should put on and he said he wants Turkeys so here you go hun. :D

I think it is so crazy that it is already the second week in November it seriously just seems like yesterday that it was August and we were moving in. Time has flown by for us here. Kris has two finals within the next week and a half and we are starting to cheer because that is one semester down. We have also received some other good news. On Friday I received and email from our realtor stating that the buying people want to close on our home on Wednesday!!! WHOO lets just pray that it goes through. I think that is one of my biggest fears if it doesn't but we have to think positive right?

So here is a few pictures to sum up our week. Enjoy...

Abi all ready for church. This is the first time she has worn tight and they were the tights that grandma bought for her for her blessing. She is finally fitting into them he he he.

One day Eliza and I deiced that we would go for a walk just to get out of the house. Half way through the walk Peter deiced that he was tired and didn't want to walk anymore so I asked him if he wanted to sit in Abi's stroller and he did. So I took Abi out of the stroller and let him get in. As we continued to walk we noticed that it had gotten really quite and this is what we found. Gotta love it when the kidos fall asleep.

Peter fast asleep in the stroller.

Aaron fast asleep in his carrier.

So Friday this week i went outside on our back porch to talk on the phone to my mom. As I walked out this is what I found on the wall right behind me. I told my mom it was a geico (like the insurance company) ha ha ha I think they are really called Camellions. I deiced to take it on me to call him Fred the Cameliion. You can tell from this picture how big he really is He is about as long as my hand but not as wide as my hand.

So have you ever asked yourself the question. Is Kris going crazy studying all the time?? This picture should answer that question for you.

Okay so it is not just him. One night Kris and I were really tired and grabbed the camera to see who could make the best face. I know I know the weird stuff people do when they don't have to much money to go out but want to have a fun night laughing. I guess it is the little things that count right?

This is a picture taken today. I loved this dress Abi had on so of course I had to get a picture of it.

So this picture I find really funny because lately this is the face she pulls all the time. She has learned that if she presses her little lips together that mommy cant shove food in my mouth. She has also found out that she can laugh through her lips with this. We tell her to smile and she makes this face. She is such a little stink, but we love her lots! She is such a joy!!!

Look at me go!!! Two posts in a 24 hour period.

This week has been a pretty fun week here at the Harrop household. Abi is now eating cereal for breakfast and dinner. She causes trouble sometimes when eating because she has found out now that if she blows air out at the same time I am feeding her that the rice cereal goes everywhere. So fun.. It is funny too because after she does it she has a huge grin on her little face.

Abi has also started to scoot herself on the floor to get things. One night as Kris and I were looking at pictures Abi had some free time to her self. So she saw daddy's phone on the ground and scooted her self to it. Next thing we know Abi is on top of the phone eating it pushing buttons. She is getting so big!! She is such a joy to have in our home!!

Here are a few pictures of this week....

Abi and Dad all ready for church.

Close up of Abi with her cute dress and matching shoes.

Abi loves this outfit grandma gave her because there are little bunnies on her feet. She loves laying on the floor and playing with her feet. I had to catch a picture of it.

I found this sweet shirt on sale at target and had to get it. As we walk around places everyone comments on how she is a daddy's girl so I thought this shirt would be way cute!!!

Some of you have been asking me what our apartment looks like on the inside. I have taken a few Pictures of our apartment...

Here is what it would look like if you were to walk in the front door.

Walking into our front room...

Looking from the back of the house to the front. You can see we have a big opening in the wall into our kitchen.

Last but not least is another funny video of Abi. I got home one day from working out to find Daddy and Abi playing a game. You have to admit it is pretty funny. The fun games daddy comes up with. And let me just tell you that i thought it would be fun to play this game as well and did Abi do the same thing with me? Nope!! :D Guess it is a daddy Abi game only.

See look Abis growin up!!!

I saw this on one of my friends blogs and I thought it was a really cute idea. I am amazed to see the growth Abi has done in just the past five months. Below are a few pictures of her progress.

Abi just minutes old.... Abi One Month old..

Abi at Two Months.... Abi at Three Months..

Abi at Four Months.... Abi at Five Months..

Isnt is just nuts?? I thought it would be fun to share this with you all.

Sorry that I have been a slacker in the division of writing things that are going on here. I have either been to tired or to lazy to write up what the current status of things here in Ga are. Well the weather this past week has turned really cold. (at least here for GA.) I think today is was like in the 40's :P So Abi and I have both come down with colds. Yuck. Somehow it amazes me that Kris never gets what Abi and I get.
School for Kris is going really well. I cant believe that he is almost through his first semester. Only 7 more weeks, but who is counting? I am excited to have the first semester over with. He is still doing really well in his classes.
Another fun thing that has happened to Kris over the past couple weeks is that he got to give the lesson in Elders Quorum and then the next Sunday he was asked to give a talk in church. So needless to say he has been really busy both with school and church over this past couple weeks. He did a great job on his talk and i am sure he did a great job on his lesson as well. I just cant say I heard it because I was in RS.
Abi is doing great (other than having a little cold)!! I cant believe how much she is growing. The big event that happened with her this week was eating her first bowl of rice cereal. The first night we fed it to her, i have to admit that I made the cereal a little to thick so she gagged a few times but she did a really good job her first time. Below are a few pictures of her first meal as well as the video of her eating it the first time. She has been doing really well with eating ever since. I am also noticing a difference in the way she sleeps at night. She is getting alot closer to sleeping through the whole night again.

Abi holding her cereal box getting really excited to eat it. Look at that grin on her face.

Before Picture of Abi before cereal.
Movie of Abi's first feeding... (beware it is a longer video)

Daddy helping feed Abi. He was so excited to be able to help feed her.

Yucky messy face Abi. She did get some in I promise!

Also this week we were able to go out to eat with some of Kris' school friends. We went to a restaurant close to Midtown in Atlanta. Here are a few pictures.

We tried to get a good picture of us here but it didn't work to well. It was too dark outside and my camera isn't that high-tech. We are standing in a really pretty park with Midtown buildings right behind us.

Me and Abi in the dark but this one you can see the buildings better.

All of us at dinner. Kris and I and Abi are at the end of the table. You cant really see us but we are there I promise. :D

More Random Pictures...

Look at her big blue eyes!! So sweet.

Kris got home from school one day and he took Abi and I told him that she just probably needed to be rocked to sleep and this is what I came back to find. he he he Tender Moments. I also thought it was funny because both of their mouths are open.

Abi fell asleep next to the teddy bear. Abi is finally bigger than the stuffed animal.

This last video was taken today. I put Abi in her bed for a little while so I could change the bed and next thing i know she is getting mad at me so I looked over and she kept getting herself into this position... Oh no I am in trouble. The video isn't to long you may have to watch it twice but here we go..
Last but not least I thought I would share with you all that we are so excited because we have an offer on our house that we have accepted so i believe officially our house is under contract. They want to close on November 16th so lets all hope and pray that is goes. WHOOO.... Prayers Are Answered, just not in our time. That is where patience comes in!!

Another picture week...

So this week has flown by once again. Not really any stories to share this week. So here are a few pictures of the week so keep you updated.

Abi falling asleep, it is funny how limp she gets right before she falls asleep.

Abi is always so intrested in paper, so the other day Kris gave her an old magazine to play with and she had such a fun time ripping it to shreds. Long story short, it kept her busy for a while.

We thought we would try putting Abi's Haloween costume on and we couldnt resit getting a couple pictures. It is a little big on her so we will be doing some adjustments for halloween.

Abi and Dad next to a pony. Kris is doing some service learning hours at a horse ranch. So Abi and I decied to go with him on Saturday. It was fun to see all the pretty horses. Kris is really enjoing this program. He is becomming quite the good horse keeper. The people at the ranch let Kris go and get the horses out of thier stalls and then put them away. He has had alot of fun doing this.

Abi and I decied to lay down during the day when daddy was doing some homework and daddy said he turned around to talk to us and we were both sound asleep. :D Guess we were both more tired than we thought.

So this week is more of just a picture week for me. I hope you all dont mind. Things have been going good for us. We were able to go to the zoo this past week thanks to Eliza for inviting us and getting us in free. But other than that nothing to great has happened. Kris is still doing great in school and still enyoing it. :D I hope you enjoy the week of pictures...
